Middleburg has numerous restaurants while the Ridge Casino, bowling alley and cinemas near Witbank has numerous eating facilities.

"Sindisa" overlooks the local golf course, country club and driving range. The Virgin Active Gym is fifteen minutes away. The open common and tranquil scenery is ideal for cyclists, joggers and walkers.

Local Rondebosch, Middelburg, Witbank and Loskop Dams are close by for those who enjoy water sports, bird watching and fishing.

The local Information Centre will keep residents abreast of local and provincial events. Botshabelo, a former German Mission Station, offers game drives, Fort Merensky and a Ndebele village and scenic hikes. Loskop Dam Nature Reserve is a half hours drive and offers two daily game boat viewing trips.
